The main responsibility of the R&D Engineer-Materials position is to develop our Divinycell core materials. Your role includes contacts with suppliers, and you will have an extensive network of contacts externally and internally. You are part of the global R & D organization and work with material development in projects, first in pilot scale and then through trial runs in our production facilities.

Key responsibilities and responsibilities - include but are not limited to:

• Participate in material development projects. Plan, execute and evaluate experiments.
• Participate in improvement projects of the production process.
• Plan research studies and evaluate test results.
• Perform tests on both pilot scale and full- scale production.
• R & D representative for raw materials sourcing. This responsibility includes identifying new raw materials, qualifying them in existing products, establishing specifications, and being part of the strategic sourcing team.

Experience and education

You have a degree in Chemical Engineering or Master degree in Chemistry or Ph.D. in the relevant area. It is qualifying if you are specialized in polymers. You will have contacts all over the world, and it's essential that you write and speak fluent English. You have experience with statistical data analysis and excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
