Falkenberg Plant, with approx. 400 employees, is characterized by a modern organization and advanced technology machine lines. Development of new technology and product upgrades and improvements are a continuous process, and most of our product assortment is “fast moving consumer goods”. In Falkenberg plant, baby diapers and incontinence products are manufactured, primarily for Nordic and central/eastern Europe.

Initiative Manager

We are looking for an driven Initiative Manager for Essity in Falkenberg who can manage and optimize the product portfolio, secure projects, changes in materials, efficiency improvements and market initiatives. As Initiative Manager you will also work with develop and implement improvements in areas such as innovations, technical projects and in materials and markets. Your role also includes monitoring the competitors' innovations and marketing activities.

You have a number of people who report to you and you will report regularly to the Site Manager and be part of the management team. The assignment includes acting as a role model for safety, quality and for Essity's values. As you work in an international environment, it is important that you fluent in written and spoken English.

As an Initiative Manager, you will inspire, engage and stimulate innovation for the business. As a person you are driven and take action, have an inclusive leadership and a genuine interest in people. You are communicative and result oriented. We also see that you lead the business's continued development with a purposeful and coaching leadership.

• you have an relevant university education within engineering or experience considered equivalent
• you have experience from manufacturing companies
• you have well-documented leadership experience
• you have solid experience of work in similar role

• you are communicative and engaging with the ability to mediate
• you are socially competent with good ability to act as ambassador both internally and externally
• you are clear, without the expense of good relationship
• you are flexible and can easily adapt to prevailing conditions
